Job Discription
Inspect raw materials (e.g., steel and zinc) for suitability before production.
Monitor the galvanization process (e.g., hot-dip or electro-galvanization) to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
Ensure compliance with standards like ASTM, ISO, and other regulatory norms for galvanized iron.
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and test results.
Suggest improvements in the galvanization process, equipment, or materials to achieve better quality and efficiency.
Liaise with clients to understand their quality requirements and ensure product alignment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure quality across the supply chain..
Provide reports to senior management on production performance.
Key Skills
Knowledge of material testing methods (e.g., salt spray test, coating thickness measurement), communication and reporting skills.
