Job Description
Weld metal parts and structures using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
Understand technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to complete tasks accurately.
Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping them as required for welding.
Conduct inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, and make necessary adjustments to welding techniques.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure that all welds meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including welding logs and inspection reports.
