Job Description
Responsible for assembling and fitting together components to create larger mechanical systems.
Working with precision instruments, tools, and machinery to ensure that parts fit together correctly and function as intended.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the assembly process.
Ensure that components are aligned correctly, tolerances are met, and measurements are accurate.
Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards and make adjustments or corrections as needed.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the assembly process.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and provide feedback on the feasibility of assembly processes.
Keeping accurate records and documentation of the assembly process is important.
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines is essential in assembly work.
