Job Description
Source and procure sheet metal raw materials (CRCA, HR, GI, SS, Aluminium, etc.) and fabricated components.
Identify, evaluate, and develop sheet metal suppliers and fabricators.
Achieve cost reduction targets through negotiation, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.
Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications related to sheet metal parts.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Maintain purchase records, supplier performance data, and MIS reports.
Vendor negotiation & cost management
ERP/SAP or similar systems
Ability to read technical drawings & BOMs
Good communication & coordination skills
Analytical and problem-solving ability
