Job Description
- Operating specialized machinery or tools such as pipe cutting machines, saws, or torches to cut pipes to specific lengths or angles.
- Understanding and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or work orders to determine the correct dimensions and specifications for the pipe cuts.
- Using measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements before making cuts.
- Checking the quality of the pipes and ensuring that they meet the required standards before initiating the cutting process.
- Performing routine maintenance on cutting equipment to ensure proper functionality and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspecting the cut pipes for accuracy and quality, and making adjustments as needed to meet the required standards.
- Identifying and addressing issues that may arise during the cutting process, such as equipment malfunctions or material defects.
