Job Discription
- Proficiency in operating milling machines and understanding their various controls and functions.
- Can understand mechanical drawing
- Understanding of different materials and their machining properties.
- Observe milling or planing machine operation, and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerances.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when required.
- Record production output.Â
- Verify alignment of workpieces on machines, using measuring instruments such as rules, gauges, or calipers.
