Job Description
Program and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) using 2D programming techniques.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create machining programs.
Set up and calibrate VMC machines for optimal performance.
Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on VMC equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce waste.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of machining operations.
Proven experience as a VMC Programmer and Operator.
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
