Job Description
- Managing the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
- Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws and regulations.
- Overseeing a team of accountants and finance professionals, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and supervision.
- Coordinating with external auditors during financial audits and working to address any audit findings or recommendations.
- Providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
- Managing cash flow, liquidity, and treasury functions to ensure the organization has adequate funds for its operations.
- Overseeing financial systems and technology implementations to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks that could impact the organization's financial health.
- Providing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their financial skills and knowledge.
