Job Description
Loading the necessary tools and workpieces, securing them in the chuck or collet, and configuring the machine's settings, including speed, feed rate, and tool offsets.
Monitor the CNC lathe's operation to ensure it produces parts to the required specifications.
Inspect finished parts to verify their dimensional accuracy and quality.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on the CNC lathe, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Diagnose and resolve minor machine issues, such as tool breakage, chatter, or deviations in part dimensions.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, part measurements, tool changes, and any issues encountered during machining.
