Job Description
Set up and operate argon welding equipment, including TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welders.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or cutting to ensure proper adhesion.
Monitor welding processes to ensure quality and consistency in welds.
Inspect completed welds for structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols to minimize hazards associated with welding operations.
